For the second time in as many months, BBC cut LGBT+ inclusive lyrics from a Born This Way comedy performance and viewers are not happy. The removed lyrics include: “No matter gay, straight, or bi, Lesbian transgender life.” Last month, the same thing happened on the BBC’s musical competition show, Let It Shine.
California Superior Court judge, Victoria Kolakowski, the first transgender person in the United State to become a trial court judge, was denied a visa to to India. She was invited by the US Embassy in New Dehli to speak about LGBT law and policy.
This protest only yielded about 100 protesters. It was, however, the most recent of many protests against same-sex marriage in recent months, as Taiwan’s judicial system gears up to review legislation that would allow it to become a reality.
