Here are the roles according to her e-mail:
- GLBTRT Advocacy Committee (Ad hoc): Co-Chaired by Julie Winkelstein and Sarah Wright – the committee is beginning its work with four members. I would consider adding two more members and I am looking for men in the public library or school library sector.
- GLBTRT 2015 ALA Annual Pre-Conference Committee (Ad hoc): Co–Chaired by Carrie Moran and Shawn Vaillancourt – the committee is complete. E-mail me if you are interested in helping in San Francisco.
- GLBTRT Bylaws Committee: Chair: Shawn Vaillancourt – the RT needs two to four members with governance experience either in ALA or community organizations.  While bylaws seems “dull,†it is work that is very important to the health of the organization
- GLBTRT External Relations Committee: Appointments are on hold while the board discusses how it wants to manage external relations.
- GLBTRT Fundraising Committee: The RT is looking for five members, including one person to be chair, who are “go getters,†have some fundraising experience, and are interested in working on the Stonewall Endowment, the Mike Morgan & Larry Romans Children’s & Young Adult Literature Award match, Emerging Leaders, and other board-designated fundraising priorities.
- GLBTRT Membership Promotion Committee: Wanted, five to seven members, including one person to be chair, who will take an active role in growing the membership of the RT, promoting the RT through membership, work on membership activities as designated by the Board.
- GLBTRT News Committee: Chaired by Mack Freeman, there are still 3 slots on the committee: GLBT News Coordinator, Opportunities Coordinator, and Media Coordinator.
- GLBTRT Program Planning Committee: Chaired by Chet Mulawka, the committee needs three to five members with experience in local, state, or ALA programming experience.
- GLBTRT Resources Committee: Chaired by Walter “Cat†Walker, this is a new committee of the RT.  We are looking for three to five members.  Please read the charge on GLBTRT website.
- GLBTRT Stonewall Book Awards Celebration Committee: If you are interested in helping with the June 2014 Stonewall Book Awards Celebration, please write to Roland Hansen, RT Chair, Roland Hansen, rchansen@colum.edu>
- GLBTRT Web Committee: Chaired by Jeremy G. Snell, the Web Committee needs two more members.
The following committees do not need members at this time. Appointments for the first three will be made in Fall 2014, and a special call for Stonewall BAC volunteers will be made with committee appointment timing yet to be determined by the Executive Board.
