This upcoming Virtual Reality drama centers the LGBTI experience

The VR experience will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018 and tells the story of a mother from Missouri who found her gay son’s diary after he dies of an AIDS related illness.  The director, Illya Szilak, wants the project to “speak to people…who might never have thought they would have empathy and affection for a gay man.  The magic of VR is that visitors really feel that they are in the car with his parents as they struggle with their own failures and guilt and loss.”
