Police needlessly shot & killed a campus pride student leader in front of their dorm

According to CNN, Scout Schultz was holding “a flip-open utility tool that would likely include a small blade” when police shot and killed them.  Police allege it was reported to authorities that someone was wondering campus with a gun and a knife. However, video taken from a dorm window shows no knife and no gun.

The Arizona Supreme Court recently ruled that legal parenting rights for a man, if his female spouse gave birth to a child during a marriage, also apply to female spouses.  Many are worried, however, because Neil Gorsuch does not support such measures.

Will LGBTQ exclusive spaces help or harm in the long run?  Should we be pushing for equality and presence on all fronts as opposed to withdrawing into isolated spaces?
