Trump’s Anti-LGBT Policies Get Thumbs-Down

The Economist and YouGov found that only 29 percent of those responding indicate approval of Trump’s handling of LGBT issues.  Only seven percent reported strong approval.  Mr. Trump recently reiterated his anti-trans military policy which is currently blocked by court rulings.

Pulse Nightclub Terrorist’s Wife Acquitted of All Charges

Noor Salman, wife of terrorist Omar Mateen who committed the Pulse nightclub mass shooting, was charged with aiding her husband’s attack which killed 49 people. Jurors have acquitted Salman of all charges after three days of deliberation.

Texas School’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Policy Gets Art Teacher Suspended

2016’s “Teacher of the Year” is now suspended after mentioning her wife during class at a Dallas-area school.  The school suspended her because she “insists that it is her right and that it is age appropriate for her to have ongoing discussions with elementary-aged students about her own sexual orientation, the sexual orientation of artists…”  Bailey’s attorneys insist the school is lying and she merely mentioned her family and that the school received only one complaint from one parent.
