Hi,
My name is Kara, Founder of Hole 19 Bar in Los Angeles. We are set to become LA’s first real miniature golf bar when our doors open on March 15th for 8 weeks as a pop-up. We are 100% funded through Kickstarter by a mostly LGBTQ+ and vegan community across the world!
We are advocating for LGBTQ+ rights through our merchandise and will be running weekly LGBTQ+ events for the founders who donated and local LGBTQ+ persons. We will also be hosting vegan vendors outside our doors. I thought you (and your readers) might be interested in our story and sharing how people can enjoy the pop-up once it opens.

Hi,
I was recently copy cataloging a YA book, Coping with Gender Dysphoria (ISBN: 978-1-50817-391-5). I noticed that it was assigned the LC subject term “Gender Identity Disorders.” I was surprised by this, since it has been almost 7 years since the DSM replaced the term Gender Identity Disorder with Gender Dysphoria.
I am not sure how one goes about asking LC to update their subject headings, but I thought this was an important issue to bring to your attention — in hopes that, if the conversation is not already started, that someone from this Round Table could contact LC to work on updating this subject heading.
