US school principal let go after coming out as trans

After coming out as gender fluid in an open letter to parents and school officials, Massachusetts Principal Daniels was placed on administrative leave for “performance related” issues according to the Boston Globe.

If Supreme Court sides with baker, America will be set back 50 years

Is cake free speech?  Can business owners turn away customers just by citing their religion?  Could removing LGBTQ rights usher in a new Jim Crow era?  The U.S. Supreme Court is currently deciding the Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission case.   The decision is expected in late spring or summer.

Newspaper removed a grieving gay man’s husband from his mother’s obituary

A Texas newspaper, the Olton Enterprise, claims that it could not publish false statements and he believes “It is my religious conviction that a male cannot have a husband.  It’s also my belief that to publish anything contrary to God’s Word on this issue would be to publish something in the newspaper that is not true.”
