Judge refuses to order school to suspend transgender policy

US District Judge Jorge Alonso’s refusal to order a Chicago-area school to suspend it’s transgender policy that allows transgender students to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of their choice will probably be appealed, and is expected to end up in the Supreme Court.

Massachusetts asks judge to toss transgender prison inmate’s lawsuit

The state of Massachusetts argued that a transgender woman who is housed in a men’s prison is not protected by the American with Disabilities Act since it specifically does not protect transgender persons.
