Texas bathroom bill dies without action as House adjourns special session

Senate Bill 3 was crafted to deny transgender and gender non-conforming people from using restrooms that align with their identity.  The House adjourned without taking any action on the controversial bill, rendering it dead.  The bill was opposed by many including police and businesses.

California Prison Doctor Sues State Alleging LGBTQ Discrimination

Lori Jespersen, a psychologist at a California prison, filed the lawsuit that alleges she repeatedly reported instances of discrimination that had taken place against gay and transgender inmates going back several years only to have them ignored.  Jespersen, who is a lesbian, alleges that corrections officers harassed her and urged inmates to attack her.

Conservatives Say Rainbow, Confederate Flags Are Equally Oppressive

“These two flags represent the exact same thing. That certain people groups are not welcome here,” said Star Parker on Fox.
