Here are the states who are failing LGBTI homeless youth

With approximately 40% of homeless youth in the United States identifying as LGBT+, state governments are not taking this number into account when planning for child welfare, juvenile justice, and homelessness systems.

19 Senators ask Trump administration why it’s erasing LGBTQ people

The Senators sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to urge them to collect data on LGBTQ people.  They were prompted to do so in March after a draft copy of the National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants was altered to remove a question asking if survey participants identify as LGBT+.

Supreme Court Rejects Challenge to ‘Gay Conversion’ Therapy Ban

The U.S. Supreme Court left unchanged California’s ban on therapy intended to turn people under the age of 19 straight.  This was in response to a Christian minister’s challenge to the law claiming it violated his “religious freedom”.
