Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade Reverses, Allows LGBTQ Veterans Group to March
After public outrage, and sponsors and elected officials pulling out, the organizers of Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade say they will allow the LGBT+ veterans group OUTVETS to march in this year’s parade.
Two disturbing censorship incidents; hopefully not setting a trend for censorship in the US:
- E! channel airs ‘sanitized’ version of Cruel Intentions that cuts same-sex kiss… E! then showed Fifty Shades of Grey a day later
- Justin Timberlake’s message to LGBTI youth at the iHeartRadio awards was muted when aired
