Outpouring Of Love For Trans Woman Who Regrets Transition Because Of Haters

Scottish trans woman Sandra MacDougall received hundreds of messages of support.  MacDougall was so discouraged that it caused her to question her gender affirming surgery in 2000.  Her story of prejudice, abuse, and transphobic violence appeared in a Scottish newspaper recently and she called the experience like living through hell.  “I can’t thank The Daily Record enough. I’m shocked, I’ve had so many people wishing me well and telling me what I’ve been put through isn’t right.”

Thousands Take To Streets In Mumbai, India For LGBTQ Pride Parade

It is estimated that several thousand-people participated in Mumbai, India’s Queer Azaadi Mumbai Pride Parade recently.  Currently, sex between two men or two women is illegal in India under a colonial-era law.  The law was repealed in 2009 but reinstated in 2013.

Gay Couple Win Right To Be Married In Estonia

The Baltic state is the first former Soviet Union country to grant marriage equality.  A court in the capital Tallinn has reached the decision to recognize the marriage of two men.  This is the first time a marriage between two men has been legally recognized in Estonia.
