The season for end-of-year lists is upon us, and SheWired has a great kickoff with their list of 12 of the year’s best films for and about LGBT women. The list includes buzzed-about big names like Freeheld and Carol as well as smaller indie titles, and even one film (The Girl King) that only just opened with a limited release on December 4th.
