Uganda Court Strikes Down Anti-Gay Law

A judge in Uganda recently ruled that that country’s anti-gay law was invalid. He reached this finding due to the fact that the legislature lacked a quorum when the bill was passed. Via PinkNews:

President Yoweri Museveni signed the draconian Anti-Homosexuality Bill in February. The law calls for repeat offenders to be sentenced to 14 years in prison and makes it a criminal offence not to report someone for being gay.

While this is cause for celebration. However, things may not be so rosy.
