Anti-LGBT Activists in Houston Fail to Challenge Bill

Anti-LGBT activists in Houston recently tried to challenge that city’s HERO law that seeks to protect LGBT people. They had turned in over 31,000 signatures, well over the 17,269 signature threshold. However, when the city started to analyze the signatures, things quickly got interesting. Numerous pages of signatures were filled out incorrectly. Further some pages were deemed to be invalid due to the fact that the person acquiring signatures was not a registered Houston voter (a requirement in the city). The anti-LGBT activists are challenging the decision in court.
