Harrington has released its update “core list†of LGBTQ Peer Review Journals. According to publisher Bill Cohen, there is no commonly accepted criteria for a “LGBTQ peer review journal.†A GLBT research article could be published in any one of thousands of scholarly journals. The list includes journals with the key terms LGBTQ (or any constituent letter or key LGBTQ word) in its title and titles such as “Sexualities†which, after spot-checking of contents, is identified as focusing on LGBTQ issues.
