All sorts of people are making their support of same sex marriage known in all sorts of ways. For Dr. Yen Chang-Lee, this meant naming a newly discovered species of snails in honor of same sex marriages. The snail has been dubbed Aegista Diversifamilia, and the authors of the study have said that it was meant to represent the diversity that occurs throughout the animal kingdom.
A marriage equality bill has been stalled in Taiwan after being introduced by the opposition party. However, support for the legislation is on the rise.
