(ISBN 0-918393-787)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you expect this book to address\u00a0intergenerational intimacy, amongst various age ranges,\u00a0than that would make at least two of us who were misled\u00a0by this title. This book is a collection of 16 research articles\u00a0and three commentaries which focus on pedophilia &#8212;\u00a0sexual relationships between men and boys. None of the\u00a0articles address situations where adult men have\u00a0intergenerational relationships with other adult men.<\/p>\n<p>If you already subscribe to <em>The Journal of\u00a0Homosexuality<\/em>, then this book will be unnecessary if you\u00a0already have Volume 20 on your shelves, as every article\u00a0in this book is reprinted from the 1990 issues of JOH.<\/p>\n<p>This book definitely lives up to its subtitle, as it\u00a0offers a diverse collection of research on the subject of\u00a0male pedophilia, including historical, sociological,\u00a0psychological, cultural and legal perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>Except for the article by Martin Killias (which has\u00a0only one citation), each contributor provided a\u00a0comprehensive set of research notes which would be of\u00a0immense help to anyone doing extensive research on\u00a0pedophilia. However, the absence of an index is disconcerting.<\/p>\n<p>Reviewed by <strong>Gary M.
