However, this will be the last opportunity to visit this con. Citing an over-burdening of volunteers, too rapid expansion, and financial losses from the convention, founder Matt Conn announced on Twitter that this would be the last con for a while, though he did hold out hope that future events would still be in the works.<\/p>\n<p>GaymerX, started in 2012 through an outrageously successful Kickstarter, seeks to combine LGBT gamers and their allies together in a safe space where they can bond over the games they love.
