There’s quite a bit going on in Seattle in a couple of weeks and we thought it would be good to highlight some of the GLBTRT offerings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Executive Board meeting on Saturday, January 26 from 8:30 – 10 AM at the Washington State Convention Center in Room 203 is open to all members. An agenda will be posted in advance on ALA Connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also on Saturday from 1 – 2 PM an All Committee Meeting will be held in Hyatt Olive 8, Azure. This is open to all members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Sunday, January 27 from 1 – 2 PM at the Renaissance, Municipal\/Superior Rooms (Courtyard), there will be a meeting called “GLBTRT 101.” This is for anyone wanting to learn more about the round table and discover opportunities to get more involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the GLBTRT Social will be held Sunday evening, from 6 – 8 PM at Queer\/Bar (1518 11th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122). Several awards are announced at this event and a great time is always had by all in attendance. There is a suggested donation to the round table of $5 for attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
