Visibility and use of the term seems to have increased in the early 2010s.<\/p>\n<p>Uses of the word &#8220;celesbian&#8221; range from celebrations of beloved lesbian celebrities, as in this article from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetalko.com\/15-celesbian-couples-who-are-too-cute-to-handle\/?view=all\">The Talko<\/a>, to critiques of performing queerness for attention, as in this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/news\/opinion\/the-dangers-of-fauxmosexuality\/2008\/10\/09\/1223145536075.html\">Sydney Morning Herald opinion piece and accompanying discussion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Perspectives and Examples<\/h2>\n<p>Brink, Rebecca Vipond. &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefrisky.com\/2014-10-16\/ny-post-declares-that-hot-celesbians-are-totally-on-trend\/\">NY Post Declares That Hot ?Celesbians?
