It&#8217;s specific aim was to reduce homophobia in this specific community. Survey data over four years show the marketing campaign reached its target audience and indicate a promising model for addressing homophobia in other Black communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>McKinnon, Scott, Andrew Gorman-Murray, and Dale Dominey-Howes. &#8220;Disasters, Queer Narratives, and the News: How are LGBTI Disaster Experiences Reported by the Mainstream and LGBTI Media?&#8221;<em> Journal of Homosexuality<\/em> 64.1 (2017): 122-44. <a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1080\/00918369.2016.1172901\">http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1080\/00918369.2016.1172901<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This study discusses coverage of LGBTI individuals in the mainstream and LGBTI media during two disasters in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<h2>Call for Chapters<\/h2>\n<p>A proposed edited volume collecting case studies on &#8220;reading for health and well-being in libraries and information services&#8221; may be in the works at Facet Publishing.
