Via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gaystarnews.com\/article\/xena-reboot-will-not-afraid-show-sex-kissing\/#gs.nMIVgXw\">Gay Star News<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Back in the 90s, the love between warrior princess Xena and her charge Gabrielle was all too obvious but was buried underneath glances, innuendo, subtext.<\/p>\n<p>But now, with a reboot coming, the writer of the new series Jaier Grillo-Maruach has promised to ?fully explore? a lesbian relationship.?[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>?Xena will be a very different show made for very different reasons. There is no reason to bring back Xena if it is not there for the purpose of fully exploring a relationship that could only be shown subtextually in first-run syndication in the 1990s.
