The show, which focus on trans woman Maura Pfefferman coming out to her children late in life, has received strong critical acclaim. Among the show&#8217;s winner, Jeffrey Tambor won?Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Pfefferman and show creator Jill Soloway won for Outstanding Direction of a Comedy Series. Upon winning, Tambor said in part:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I?d like to dedicate my performance and this award to the transgender community.<\/p>\n<p>?Thank you for your patience.
