A new article from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/loi\/tbit20#.Va_qPflQdaY\"><em>Behaviour &amp; Information Technology <\/em><\/a>explores possible reasons why LGBT content creators share personal narratives online, which include the desire to &#8220;seek friendship, support and provide empathy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>?Roberts, Megan. &#8220;Under The Rainbow.&#8221; <em>Children &amp; Libraries: The Journal of the Association for Library Service to Children<\/em> 13.2 (2015): 3-4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An article published in the Summer 2015 issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/compubs\/childrenlib\"><em>Children &amp; Libraries<\/em><\/a>? charts the development of a children&#8217;s story time at the LGBT Center at the Raleigh Library, in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The program was the recipient of the ALSC\/Candlewick Press ?<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/awardsgrants\/profawards\/candlewicklighttheway\">Light the Way: Outreach to the Underserved<\/a>? Grant in 2014.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Forthcoming GLBT Publications, 2015.&#8221; <em>Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries<\/em> 52.10 (2015): 1613-1616.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/acrl\/choice\/home\"><em>Choice<\/em><\/a> has released its list of forthcoming GLBT publications for 2015. Part of <em>Choice&#8217;s <\/em>&#8220;Forthcoming&#8221; series, the list covers soon-to-be released books in areas including general GLBT Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences and Science &amp; Technology.<\/p>\n<h2>Call for Papers<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>?<a href=\"WSQ%20(Women's%20Studies%20Quarterly)\">WSQ (Women?s Studies Quarterly)<\/a>? is looking for scholarly articles, poetry, fiction and other creative work for a special issue on queer methodology. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.feministpress.org\/wsq\/current-call-papers\">From the WSQ website<\/a>:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>We solicit paper proposals that are theoretical, conceptual and\/or empirical on a wide range of topics relating to queer methods, including but not limited to the following: <\/em><\/p>\n<p>[Edited to emphasize topics of interest to library and information science]<\/p>\n<p><em>*What practices and protocols can we establish for constructing queer archives? And how can we index or historicize the ways queer methods change over time and across locations?<br \/>\n*What methods and techniques can advance queer library sciences? Performance studies? Dis\/ability studies? Trans* studies?<br \/>\n*How can ?big data? produce queer subjectivities, bodies, and populations?<br \/>\n*What procedures should we employ for queer oral histories?
