[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>In his ruling, Judge Griffen made his feelings about Walther clear: &#8220;With shameless disrespect for fundamental fairness and equality, [Walther] insists on treating the marriages of same-sex couples who received marriage licenses between May 9 and May 15 as &#8216;void from inception as a matter of law.'&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It is widely expected that the United States Supreme Court will invalidate anti-same-sex marriage laws by the end of their current session at the end of this month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By John Mack Freeman A judge has validated the 500 same-sex marriages that occurred during a window period in Arkansas when same-sex marriage was briefly legal.
