By a vote of 103-73, the parliament approved a measure that would ban discrimination and hate speech based on gender identity and sexual orientation. Further, progress is being made on same sex unions with 54% of Swiss people approving of them and the lower house of parliament having passed a bill to legalize them earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peru&#8217;s?<\/strong>legislature <a href=\"http:\/\/joemygod.blogspot.com\/2015\/03\/peru-congress-rejects-civil-unions.html\">rejected a bill<\/a>?that would have allowed for same sex unions.
