Grammatical errors. The term &#8220;transgendered.&#8221; Usually, you&#8217;d expect to find these errors on the less thoughtful side of Internet debate. But, they have been ensconced in the Rainbow Honor Walk in San Francisco&#8217;s Castro neighborhood. The plaques were meant to commemorate deceased LGBT icons. And it was a great idea. However, it desperately needed a copywriter. Not long after the plaques had been placed, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinknews.co.uk\/2014\/09\/04\/us-plaques-to-honour-lgbt-heroes-riddled-with-spelling-errors\/\">numerous people commented on spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, and insensitive language.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/BwnioKoCMAAjI7S.jpg\" alt=\"View image on Twitter\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/BwoY0LvCMAA0odI.png:large\" alt=\"View image on Twitter\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The plaques are currently in the process of being replaced with corrected ones, though that is expected to take until at least October.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By John Mack Freeman Misspellings.
