Ed Hermance, the previous owner of\u00a0Giovanni&#8217;s Room in Philadelphia\u00a0announced that he was closing the store because it was running a loss of $10,000-$15,000 per year. However, a new buyer for the store has been found. Via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinknews.co.uk\/2014\/07\/25\/us-nations-oldest-gay-bookshop-to-re-open\/\">PinkNews<\/a> and Publishers Weekly, the store will continue to operate as Giovanni&#8217;s Room, but it will have an updated business model that will allow for the selling of furniture and more used LGBT titles.
