If you are interested in serving, please e-mail Ann Symons or use the Contact Us link above.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #913b48;\" align=\"left\"><span dir=\"ltr\">GLBTRT Representatives<\/span><\/h3>\n<div style=\"color: #565555;\">\n<table cellspacing=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<h2 style=\"color: #913b48;\"><a style=\"color: #d15472;\" name=\"1475ebc7bfade139_TOC-Purpose\"><\/a>Purpose<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #565555;\">Representatives serve as the round table&#8217;s primary contact to other groups. \u00a0They relay information between\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #565555;\">the round table and their target groups and work directly with round table board, committees, and membership on projects or issues related to their target groups.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #913b48;\">Roster<\/span><\/p>\n<p>See the GLBTRT\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bd415f;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/glbtrt\/about\/representatives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">representatives roster<\/a>\u00a0for a list of current representatives. \u00a0<b>THIS NEEDS UPDATING<\/b><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #913b48;\"><a style=\"color: #d15472;\" name=\"1475ebc7bfade139_TOC-Guidelines\"><\/a>Guidelines<\/h2>\n<div>The representative:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>serves a one year term; or a two year term<\/li>\n<li>in many cases, will serve as the representative to both the GLBTRT and the other group;<\/li>\n<li>monitors both group\u2019s email lists, newsletters, blogs, and social media for meetings, invitations, announcements, events, and programs;<\/li>\n<li>attends necessary meetings at Midwinter and Annual of both groups;<\/li>\n<li>relays information back and forth between both groups&#8217; email lists;<\/li>\n<li>gathers feedback from GLBTRT membership and\/or board when needed using the membership email list;<\/li>\n<li>engages with GLBTRT committees and chairs when needed;<\/li>\n<li>submits reports to the board soon after Midwinter and Annual using these\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bd415f;\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/glbtrt\/board\/secretary\/reports\" target=\"_blank\">reporting guidelines<\/a>;
