The given reason? The show&#8217;s final five minutes contain a same-sex marriage. The principal of the school informed the theatre department that the show was inappropriate on these grounds. Initial reports also claimed that the principal said that homosexuality &#8220;did not exist&#8221; in the community, though sources are unclear whether this actually occurred.
