When Fox network indulges in gay bashing, it usually ignores criticism—or at the most just ridicules those who disagree with them. This was not the case after Dr. Robi Ludwig, an “expert†psychologist consultant for the network, asserted a few hours after the recent Santa Barbara massacre that the killer was motivated by “his homosexual impulse.†In an apology, she said that she didn’t mean her comments to be offensive. Coldwell Banker told her that she would no longer be its lifestyle real estate correspondent. All evidence of Ludwig’s employment, including her profile page and all writings performed for the company, had been summarily removed from their website. It now appears that Ludwig uses the term “doctor†because of a degree from an unaccredited online correspondence school. There has been no indication of whether she will continue to appear on Fox network shows such as The View and O’Reilly Factor.Â
