Books can expand horizons and give LGBT people courage, sometimes easing the pain of being an outside . “in a world where not only our books but our lives are shelved separately from everyone else’s.†Lambda Literary Foundation is collecting brief videos or photographs to share inspirational books, poems, graphic novels, or other life-changing pieces of literature with the world. Contributions will become part of the 26th Annual Lambda Literary Awards celebration and help build up its social media efforts to increase the visibility of queer writing both within and outside our community.
