It’s the first time a queer character will play the lead in an American broadcast drama.  Alan Cumming’s character, Michael Rauch, is a former-CIA-operative-turned-professor/writer, who just happens to be married to a man named Andy.

Under 21 in Singapore? You can’t see ‘Love, Simon’ in cinemas

The film has been rated R21 by the country’s Info-communications Media Development Authority.  There is a petition to change the rating to NC16.
