The London Tube Is Going to Stop Addressing Passengers As ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’

The move is intended to increase inclusiveness and adopt gender-neutral language.  The careful review of the language used in the announcements was done in order to reflect the “great diversity of London”.

Indonesia to reject 75 UN concerns, including threats to LGBTI people

Back in May, the U.N. Human Rights Counsel recommended 75 changes to address Indonesia’s anti-LGBTQ record.  According to The Jakarta Post, all of the recommendations will be rejected.

First LGBTQ fighting unit forms to combat ISIS in Syria

For years, the Islamic state militant group ISIS has been murdering gay and bisexual people by throwing them off buildings and stoning them.  The Queer Insurrection and Liberation Army, or TQILA (pronounced “tequila”) was formed recently to fight back.
