‘Two maidens’ of Pompeii have male DNA, now gay lovers’

These two bodies, found in Pompeii with one person’s head resting on the other’s chest, were previously thought to be two young women, and were even labeled “The Two Maidens”.However, testing this week showed that they both had male DNA and that they weren’t immediately, biologically related. CAT scans revealed that they were probably 18- and 20-years-old.

Uganda gay rights activist arrested for calling President Museveni ‘a pair of buttocks’

A Ugandan human rights activist was arrested and detained for calling President Yoweri Museveni ‘a pair of buttocks’.  Stella Nyanzi is being accused of ‘disturbing the peace’ after criticizing the government. Nyanzi, a research fellow at Makerere University, was detained after hosting a fundraising drive to raise money for healthcare products for schoolgirls.
