Reality show Big Brother will soon welcome its first ever trans guest. Audrey Middleton, a young transwoman and major fan of the show, will be one of its contestants in the new season starting June 24. Profiles were released for the new contestants on CBS’s web site earlier in the week, but no mention was made of Middleton’s gender at first, until TMZ posted an article sharing the news. Shortly thereafter, CBS released a statement confirming Middleton’s identity. (via Entertainment Weekly)
