By John Mack Freeman

Gallup released a new poll this week showing that LGBT people were significantly more likely to be non-religious than were non-LGBT people. Additionally, there were much less likely to attend worship services, and much more likely to say that religion does not play a major role in their daily lives. The full results of this survey can be found here.

A Williams Institute study found that children of LGB couples are as likely to thrive as children raised by heterosexual unions. This mirrors a Melbourne study from earlier this year. The full study can be found here.

A CBS Poll found that 50 percent of Hispanics back same sex marriage. CBS News:  “More Hispanics think same-sex marriage should be legal (50 percent) than not legal (44 percent). Fifty-four percent of non-Hispanics think it should be legal, compared to 39 percent who say it shouldn’t be. As is the case with the public overall, younger Hispanics are more likely than those who are older to support same-sex marriage.”
